Our client is seeking a highly organised and empathetic Volunteer Coordinator to manage their volunteer program in Belfast . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of volunteers in Belfast .
- Screen, interview, and onboard new volunteers, ensuring they receive appropriate training and induction.
- Match volunteer skills and interests to appropriate roles and tasks within the organisation.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and supervision to the volunteer team.
- Organise volunteer recognition events and initiatives to foster a sense of appreciation and community.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and manage the scheduling of volunteer activities.
- Act as a point of contact for volunteer queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in volunteer management, HR, or a similar people-focused role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport easily.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in recruitment, training, and support provision.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
