We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Waiting Staff Team Member to join the team at a stunning beachfront hotel on the Isles of Scilly.

What You Need to Know

• Previous experience working as a FOH server/waiting staff member in a quality establishment is preferred

• The position is available immediately until the end of October 2026, when the hotel closes for the winter season

• You will need to be able to make your own way to Penzance, Cornwall, at your own expense

• You must be happy living and working away from home for the remainder of the season

• You should enjoy an outdoor, peaceful island lifestyle — this isn't a party destination!

• There is an opportunity to return for the full 2027 season, making this a great opportunity to establish yourself within the team

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:

• Previous waiting or FOH experience

• A genuine passion for excellent customer service

• A friendly, professional and positive attitude

• Excellent attention to detail

• The ability to work confidently in a busy restaurant environment

• A strong team ethic and willingness to support your colleagues

• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• A positive, flexible and adaptable approach

• A genuine love of hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

You'll be a true ambassador for the hotel, so personality, presentation and a positive attitude are just as important as experience.
