Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our new Mental Health Residential Home in Coalville, Leicestershire. This full-time role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with complex needs, within a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Waking Night Support Worker based in Coalville, your daily duties will include:

• Building trust and developing nurturing relationships to promote independence and wellbeing of service users.
• Working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to support care plans.
• Contributing to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Documenting information accurately and ensuring records are kept up to date.
• Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this within the required timeframe.
• Relevant experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
