Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Warehouse & Yard Assistant in Glasgow who's as passionate about great service as we are. What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck work
What We’re Looking For
- Previous industry experience preferred
- Background within Warehouse Management, ideally within construction materials
- A positive team player who is a strong and inclusive leader
- A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- Commercial acumen
