Location: Meldreth, Royston Pay: £13.27 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm Job Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent Start Date: Immediate

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established business based in Meldreth, Royston.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing temporary work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role will involve working within a cold storage environment, carrying out general warehouse duties and ensuring goods are prepared safely and efficiently for dispatch.

PPE will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Working within a cold storage environment.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Moving stock around the warehouse.

Picking and preparing orders.

Packing and palletising products.

Preparing goods for dispatch.

Operating an FLT safely.

Ensuring stock is stored correctly.

Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse.

Following all health and safety procedures.

Working as part of a busy warehouse team.

The Ideal Candidate

Reliable and punctual.

Comfortable working in a cold storage environment.

Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.

Able to follow instructions and procedures.

A good team player with a positive attitude.

Experienced in warehouse work.

Able to work safely and efficiently.

Hold a valid FLT licence – essential.
