Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accuracy, and implementing effective stock management systems.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior warehouse or logistics management role, preferably within the Aberdeen area.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully managing teams and driving operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and its application in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use insights to inform decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
