Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct all warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize workflow, space utilization, and labor efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and security procedures within the warehouse.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and implement measures to minimize discrepancies and prevent stock loss.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior logistics role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize operational costs, and improve efficiency.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
