About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their remote logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness, all managed remotely. You will implement and refine best practices in inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics coordination, driving continuous improvement across the supply chain from your home office. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations to meet business objectives and customer demands.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through robust tracking and reconciliation processes.
- Oversee the entire order fulfilment cycle, from picking and packing to shipping and delivery, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and operational standards within the warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in a remote setting.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior logistics role, with a strong understanding of remote operational management.
- Demonstrated success in improving warehouse efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management systems , WMS software, and supply chain best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a remote team effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-informed decisions.
