About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Operations Supervisor to support their facility in Reading . This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse floor, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. You will be instrumental in driving productivity, maintaining high standards of stock accuracy, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
• Address operational issues and implement solutions to minimize disruption.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and WMS.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid role, balancing on-site and potential remote administrative tasks.
