Warehouse Operative / Driver

Responsibilities

Warehouse:

• Load and unload items using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Maintain all warehouse related admin such as delivery notes, goods in, despatch / goods out.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as stock organization, inventory checks, palletising and repackaging. Driving:
• Safely operate a small van or vehicle to deliver or collect goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections.
• Routes covered include London and the Southeast, with regular long-distance deliveries throughout the UK including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and occasional deliveries into Europe requiring an overnight stay.
• Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and supervisors to coordinate deliveries/ collections and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

• You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be able to be security vetted.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer experience.
• A good eye for detail.
• Team player, flexible attitude.
• Able to be security vetted.
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
• A counterbalance forklift and Dangerous Goods (ADR) certificate are preferred though are not essential as training can be given.
