We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in picking, packing, stock control and loading who are looking for steady hours and potential progression.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and to schedule
• Carry out stock control tasks, including counting, recording and reporting discrepancies
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience in picking, packing, stock control and loading
• Forklift skills desirable; forklift licence not essential (training may be available)
• Good attention to detail and numeracy
• Ability to work physically and lift/move goods safely
• Strong team player with a reliable, punctual approach

Candidates must have proven experience within a warehouse role. Ideally some forklift experience with either external licences or in-house training.

Please note this will start as a temporary role, full time hours working from 6AM starts. After successful probation the role will transfer to to a permanent contract.
