About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their logistics hub in Derby . You will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the warehouse and requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
• Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
