About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their night shift team in Edinburgh . This role is essential for ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently to meet customer demands. You will be part of a busy warehouse environment, working as a key member of the operations team to maintain high standards of service and operational flow. The ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, and able to work effectively during overnight hours, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods in the designated warehouse locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles as required, ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Report any stock discrepancies or operational issues to the shift supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately during night shifts .
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move goods as required.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
