Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

About the Role

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their night shift team in Bradford . This role involves a variety of tasks critical to maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You will be an essential part of the team responsible for ensuring that orders are processed accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a commitment to working safely and effectively during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities and quality, and store them in designated locations.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team during night shifts.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing orders.
