Warehouse Operative Nights Exeter (EX5)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier client based in the Exeter (EX5) area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing operation with long-term prospects.

Location: Exeter EX5
Shift Pattern: Night shifts Midnight Starts
Pay Rate: From 15.01
Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate

About the Role

As a Parcel Sorter , you will play a key role in ensuring parcels are processed accurately and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately sort and organise incoming parcels by route and destination
• Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other warehouse equipment
• Ensure parcels are correctly labelled and categorised
• Work closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines
• Identify damaged parcels and follow company procedures for reporting and handling
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maximising space efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Follow all company health, safety, and security policies

What Were Looking For

• Previous xwwtmva experience in a warehouse, logistics, or parcel sorting role is desirable but not essential
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift parcels of varying weights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime
