Warehouse Operative - Picker/Packer

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Belfast . As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring all items are handled with care and dispatched efficiently. This hands-on role is crucial to maintaining the smooth flow of goods through the facility. We seek individuals who are reliable, work well as part of a team, and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive working environment within the Logistics & Warehousing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders using a scanner or pick list, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Pack items securely and efficiently for dispatch, using appropriate packaging materials.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy and condition.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly, as trained.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock management as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or picking and packing role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
