Warehouse Operative / Van Driver – Day & Night Shifts

Location: Bredbury Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.01 per hour for night shifts after 12 weeks Shifts: Day or Night Job Type: Ongoing / Full-time

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives / Van Drivers to join our busy team in Bredbury.

Both day and night shifts are available, with regular ongoing work.

Training

All successful candidates will complete 2 weeks of training in Bolton before starting the permanent role in Bredbury.

Training will take place in Bolton for 2 weeks

*

Travel expenses to Bolton will be covered during training

*

You must be able to reliably travel to Bolton for the full training period

Shift Times

Day Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Night Shift: 1:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Pay

*

£12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks

*

After successfully completing 12 weeks, the night shift rate increases to £15.01 per hour

*

The £12.71 rate applies to both day and night shifts during the first 12 weeks

Main Duties

*

Picking and packing orders

*

Loading and unloading deliveries

*

Sorting and moving stock

*

Moving stock between two depot locations

*

Following health and safety procedures

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

*

Working efficiently to meet productivity targets

Requirements

*

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Comfortable with manual handling

*

Reliable and punctual

*

Able to work as part of a team

*

Able to travel between two depot locations

*

Able to travel to Bolton for 2 weeks of training

*

Able to travel to Bredbury after training
