Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Leeds . You will be responsible for a range of tasks including picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently, as well as receiving and storing incoming goods. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that customer orders are processed correctly and on time. Working as part of a cohesive team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment, playing a vital role in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming goods, checking for damages and discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, including work areas and stock locations.
• Participate in stock takes and inventory checks as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting in Leeds .
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move goods as needed.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to fulfilling assigned duties.
