About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution center in Glasgow . This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the warehouse, involving the picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. You will be an integral part of the logistics team, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to specific customer requirements.
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials, verifying contents against orders.
• Organize and maintain warehouse stock, ensuring correct placement and rotation.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
• Load and unload delivery vehicles with care and precision.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to attendance.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
