Warehouse Operative / Stores Person

Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire | Site Based | Contract | Immediate Start | Monday-Friday | 39hrs a week

£13p/hr

Immediate requirement for a Warehouse Operative / Stores Person to join a busy engineering and logistics operation in Letchworth Garden City.

This is a hands-on warehouse role covering goods in/out, picking and packing, shipping, stock control and general stores duties within a busy engineering environment.

The Role:

• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
• Shipping and booking goods out using internal systems
• Goods in duties, including booking stock in and putting parts away
• Inventory counts and stock control
• Updating ERP / MRP systems
• General warehouse housekeeping and stores support

The Person:

• Previous warehouse or stores experience
• Experience across goods in / goods out, logistics or engineering stores
• IT / ERP / MRP system experience beneficial
• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Available for an immediate start
