Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their team in Glasgow . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth running of the warehouse, including picking, packing, receiving, and dispatching goods. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will work as part of a cohesive team, contributing to the efficient movement of products and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Organize and maintain stock within the warehouse, ensuring easy access and correct storage.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained and certified).
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling role is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, with a strong focus on detail.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move items as required by the role.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
