About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent Warehouse Operative to join their logistics team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for the efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse facility. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safe handling of products, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the logistics chain. This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who is organised, physically capable, and committed to contributing to a successful supply chain operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods.
• Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet trucks, safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A valid forklift truck license would be advantageous but is not essential.
