Warehouse Operative

Key Responsibilities

Container De-vasting: Manually unload, lift, and empty incoming shipping containers containing loose or boxed cargo.

*

Material Handling: Sort, stack, and palletize goods safely according to warehouse layouts and dispatch requirements.

*

Stock Quality Checks: Inspect incoming cargo for damages, discrepancies, or missing items during the offloading process.

*

Safety & Housekeeping: Ensure work areas, loading bays, and warehouse floors remain clear, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Strong physical stamina and fitness, with the ability to perform heavy, repetitive manual labor.

*

Previous experience working within a warehouse, yard, or container offloading environment is preferred.

*

Excellent reliability, timekeeping, and a strong work ethic.

*

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
