We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Poynton for a Warehouse Operative. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 14.00 - 22.00 paying between £14.12 to £15.21 per hour.

Typical Duties

• Operate overhead gantry cranes and material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, store, and retrieve steel products safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily equipment checks and maintain accurate stock records.
• Carry out stock control, load checking, and product labelling.
• Support goods-in, goods-out, and weighbridge activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality, and safety.
• Follow company procedures and Health & Safety regulations at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a heavy-duty warehouse, steel, or metals environment.
• Good numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
