Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their busy facility in Milton Keynes . You will be involved in various warehouse duties, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, proactive, and can work effectively as part of a team in the Milton Keynes area.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain stock within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained).
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
