About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and diligent Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Southampton . This hands-on role involves the efficient handling of goods, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatching orders. You will be an integral part of the warehouse team, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain and maintaining high standards of service. The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and possess a positive attitude, working within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming goods safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified), with care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.
• Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational role is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and completing simple paperwork.
• A strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
• Team player with a proactive and reliable work ethic.
