Warehouse Operative

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for their designated workload within their service area with access to support, advice and management from an appropriate senior member of staff. This will involve supporting the service during a site relocation.

Duties.

• Limited face to face and telephone support to service users, colleagues and carers/ relatives regarding routine information.

• Basic assembly of equipment using manufacturer’s instructions.

• To monitor and maintain stock.

• Carry our weekly stock checks, resolving stock and delivery issues and ordering stock as required on a weekly basis.

• To pick and prepare equipment ready for deliveries.

• To prepare equipment ready for in store collections by assessors or families.

• To use lifting machinery such as fork lift truck, within the warehouse following safe driving procedures.

Hours & Pay

• Monday - Friday

• 9am- 5pm or similar

• Starting at £13.47 P/H

• Weekly pay whilst through agency
