Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Sheffield . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods, ensuring the efficient flow of operations. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety. You will be an integral part of the warehouse team, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations within a dedicated on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to order specifications.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Sort and organize inventory within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided).
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
