Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Belfast . This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the warehouse, involving the handling, movement, and storage of goods. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders accurately, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This is a hands-on role for individuals who are physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and can contribute positively to a team in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to orders.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and internal transport.
• Receive and put away incoming stock in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training may be provided).
• Assist with stock takes and inventory checks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
