Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving goods, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse and meeting delivery targets. We seek individuals who are physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and can work effectively as part of a team in a hands-on, operational capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and accurately log incoming stock.
• Pick and pack orders according to specific instructions and timelines.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Check inventory levels and report any discrepancies or stock issues.
• Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
