Warehouse Operative (Picker/Packer)
Location: Oldham, OL9 9XE
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Immediate Starts Available
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution warehouse in Oldham.
Join a well-established importer and distributor supplying a wide range of products to retailers across the UK. The company operates from a modern distribution centre and offers a friendly team environment, ongoing work, and opportunities for development.
Duties
- Picking and packing orders
- Quality checking products
- Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
- General warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Shift Pattern
- Initial shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm (4:00pm finish on Fridays)
- Flexibility required to move onto 7:00am - 3:30pm shifts once established
- Overtime opportunities available
- Approximately 6 Saturdays per year required
Breaks
- 11:00am - 15-minute break

Pay

- Paid for 38.5 hours per week
- Overtime paid at 1.25x after 38.5 hours worked
- Saturday shifts paid at 1.25x , subject to qualifying hours
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
