Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking diligent and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Belfast . As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving goods, picking and packing orders, and dispatching shipments. This hands-on role is essential for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of all items within the warehouse. We are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and organized working environment and contributing to the overall success of our Belfast operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against delivery notes, and store items appropriately.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment within the warehouse .
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified).
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar manual handling role is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, often under time pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
