About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic team in Manchester . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient running of the warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and packing and shipping them out. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be a crucial part of the supply chain, ensuring that products reach our customers accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately.
• Pick and pack orders according to specified requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
• Load and dispatch outgoing shipments, verifying contents against orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse machinery.
