Warehouse Operative

Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team based in Great Blakenham on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12 working week period of employment.

The role involves a combination of warehouse duties, packing and handballing, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a busy warehouse environment.

The position operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering consistent full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing products ready for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Handballing and manually moving goods around the warehouse.
• Sorting and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Preparing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Skills Required:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and handballing.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good organisational skills.

Qualifications Required:

• No formal qualifications are required for this position.
• Manual Handling training is desirable, but full training can be provided.
• Any previous warehouse, packing or logistics experience would be advantageous.
