About the Role

We are recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Sunderland . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient handling and processing of goods, contributing directly to our client's operational success. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods, adhering to strict safety procedures at all times. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy physical work and are committed to maintaining high standards in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists.
• Receive and process incoming stock, verifying quantities and quality.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified).
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is an advantage.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
