Salary: £13.55 – £18.36 per hour, depending on role and shift

Hours: Full-time, Night Shift

Apple Recruitment is urgently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established warehouse and distribution team based in Mallusk.

There are a number of positions available across different areas of the warehouse, including Loaders, Assemblers, Freezer Section Operatives and FLT Operatives.

These are excellent opportunities for hardworking and reliable individuals looking for ongoing work, with full training provided on relevant roles and the potential to secure permanent employment.

Available Positions & Working Patterns Warehouse Loader

• Sunday – Thursday 6:00pm – 2:00am (finish) 1 position available Salary: £13.55 – £18.30 per hour while working as a temporary employee

Warehouse Assembler

• Monday – Friday 6:00pm – 2:00am (finish) 2 positions available

Warehouse Assembler – Freezer Section

• Sunday – Thursday 6:00pm – 2:00am (finish) 1 position available Salary: £14.44 – £18.36 per hour while working as a temporary employee

FLT Operative

• Sunday + any 3 days from Monday – Thursday 6:00pm – 4:00am 1 position available

General Operative – GIST Operation

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00pm – 2:00am (finish)
• 2 positions available
• Chilled environment
• Duties include loading and unloading trailers

The Role Depending on the position, duties may include:

• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately. Loading and unloading stock. Assembling and preparing products for dispatch. Working within a freezer/cold store environment where required. Moving and handling stock safely and efficiently. Ensuring products are handled safely and correctly. Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of goods. Operating warehouse equipment where required and appropriately trained. Following instructions from supervisors and management. Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Working as part of a busy team to meet daily operational requirements. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. Following all health and safety procedures at all times. Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements Applicants must be:

• Hardworking, reliable and punctual. Comfortable following instructions and working as part of a team. Physically capable of carrying out warehouse and manual handling duties. Able to work the relevant shift pattern. Able to demonstrate a good standard of English to understand instructions and communicate effectively within the workplace. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. For the Freezer Section position, applicants must be comfortable working in a freezer/cold store environment. For FLT positions, applicants must hold the relevant FLT licence/certification.

Previous warehouse, loading, assembly or distribution experience is desirable but not essential for some positions, as training will be provided.

Own safety boots are required.
