Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Poole
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation, ensuring goods are received, stored and despatched safely, accurately and on time.

The Role
Working alongside a small team of two, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. From managing Goods In and dispatch to maintaining stock accuracy and supporting your team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the warehouse runs safely and effectively every day.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, support and motivate a small warehouse team
Allocate daily workloads and ensure operational targets are achieved
Ensure warehouse operations comply with Health & Safety procedures
Oversee Goods In, order picking, packing, despatch and stock control
Coordinate the loading and unloading of deliveries, checking goods for damage and accuracy
Carry out stock investigations, cycle counts and annual stock takes
Maintain accurate warehouse records, including delivery notes, Goods In documentation, SRNs, BOMs and despatch paperwork
Train and develop team members across all warehouse functions
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift and provide hands-on support where required
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or Senior Warehouse Operative looking to step up
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Full UK driving licence
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems (Sage 200 would be an advantage)
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
A positive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
