About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Supervisor to join their facility in Wolverhampton . You will play a key role in supervising daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. This position involves leading a team of warehouse operatives, managing workflow, and ensuring that all activities meet company standards for productivity and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
• Train new team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations , including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Knowledge of health and safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
