About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team within their distribution center in Nottingham . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site leadership and remote administrative oversight, focusing on maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety, and team performance. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the facility. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and performance targets.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the warehouse environment.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a warehouse context.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
