Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team within their busy logistics facility in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific section of the warehouse, ensuring that targets for productivity, accuracy, and safety are met. You will provide guidance and support to your team, manage workflows, and contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to managing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse operatives on a daily basis.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and dispatch, are carried out efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training to operatives.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the assigned warehouse area.
• Manage inventory accuracy and conduct regular checks to resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures in the Wolverhampton facility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
