About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team and oversee daily operations at their facility in Derby, Derbyshire, UK . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of all warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You will be responsible for guiding and motivating your team, implementing operational procedures, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be key to maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to warehouse team members.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or team leader role within a logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
