About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead their operational team in Liverpool . This role requires a strong leader capable of managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all operations. You will be responsible for guiding a team of warehouse operatives, optimizing workflows, and contributing to a productive and safe working environment, playing a vital role in the successful execution of the company's distribution and storage functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations on a daily basis.
• Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, with a strong focus on health and safety .
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and ensure accuracy of records.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.
• Operate warehouse equipment and ensure it is maintained in good working order.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
