Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of warehouse operatives, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock management and regular cycle counts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to the warehouse team, addressing any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or a senior warehouse operative position.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
