About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team at their facility in Glasgow . In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse floor, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will be responsible for managing and motivating your team, coordinating workflows, and ensuring that all tasks related to receiving, storing, and dispatching goods are completed accurately and on time. This is a critical role in maintaining the smooth functioning of the logistics chain, requiring strong leadership and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Train and mentor warehouse team members, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and systems.
