Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to guide and support their operational team in Norwich . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of daily warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, dispatching, and receiving goods. You will be responsible for leading a small team, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring productivity targets are met. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee the efficient flow of goods, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Provide training and support to team members, addressing performance issues as they arise.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is operated safely and maintained in good working order.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with some experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and health & safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and motivate others.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
