About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Bristol . You will be responsible for guiding and supporting a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations, promoting a positive team environment, and ensuring high standards of productivity and safety within the Bristol warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Ensure efficient processing of incoming and outgoing goods, adhering to timelines.
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of warehouse stock, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist in training new team members and provide guidance to existing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with some experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to motivate others.
• Awareness of health and safety standards in a warehouse setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.
