About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to guide their operations team in Wolverhampton . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a passion for team development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Monitor daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures within the warehouse.
• Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization within the work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
