Warehouse Team Leader
Worksop, Permanent, 9am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri
£30-32k DOE
Our Worksop-based client is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their friendly and supportive team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to lead a small team within a clean, organised warehouse environment where quality, teamwork and customer service are key.
As Warehouse Team Leader, you will support the Warehouse Manager while leading and motivating a team of three operatives. You'll ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, stock integrity is maintained and warehouse standards remain high at all times.
Duties include:
- Leading by example and promoting a positive team culture.
- Picking, checking, labelling and packing customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Monitoring team performance and maintaining operational standards.
- Conducting stock checks and updating the WMS to ensure stock accuracy, traceability and compliance.
- Coordinating inbound deliveries and outbound collections.
- Travelling to a local partner depot using the company vehicle.
- Supporting safe working practices, including manual handling and FLT operation.
To apply, you will have:
- Previous warehouse experience, including picking with scanners.
- Experience leading or supervising a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good IT skills and experience using a WMS.
- Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- FLT experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
