Warehouse Team Leader

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER – £27,000–£30,000

Location: Huntingdon
Salary: £27,000–£30,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy operation and lead a team of warehouse operatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and support warehouse staff across goods in, picking, loading, recycling and dispatch.
• Coordinate material flow to and from production.
• Allocate daily workloads and ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and stock control.
• Train, coach and motivate team members.
• Liaise with production and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organised warehouse.

About you:

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally at supervisory/team leader level.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse systems.
• Health & safety and manual handling knowledge.
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach) desirable.
• Reliable, proactive and hands-on, with the ability to work under pressure.
