Waste Transfer Plant Operator (4 on/4 off)

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking Disposal Plant Operatives for sites across Edinburgh (West Bankhead, East Seafield, Craigmillar). This 36-hour-per-week role operates large plant machinery at Waste Transfer Stations and Recycling Centres, with a 4 days on / 4 days off pattern and enhanced payment on weekends.

Training is provided; prior plant experience is desirable but not required. Duties include weighing, guiding vehicles, assisting on HWRC, site administration and maintaining safety
